Topic:	"Are Germans still investing in the U.S.? Isn't everyone investing in Eastern Europe, China, and elsewhere these days?"
Description:	Much like their counterparts in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, German Mittelstand companies in diverse industries (manufacturing, software, services) are facing some tough decisions these days in terms of responding to the risks and opportunities of globalization. Should they invest in Germany itself, in Eastern Europe, in China, in India... or even here in the U.S.? Their decisions are driven by a number of variables, including production costs, quality and skills of the workforce, proximity to customers and supply chains, business risks, and the local regulatory and legal climate. German companies are not just choosing the lowest cost sites in Asia, but are instead investing in the U.S. as well. Our panelists will address relevant issues, risks and opportunities.
