The German Economics and Politics of Biofuels and Solar Energy
Description: The German American Business Council and the Boston Eric M. Warburg Chapter of the American Council on Germany cordially invite you to a discussion and luncheon with Dr. Wilfried Prewo, Chief Executive of the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Program: The German Economics and Politics of Biofuels and Solar Energy.

Dr. Wilfried Prewo is Chief Executive of the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), one of Germany’s largest chambers of commerce. The Chamber covers the central industrial region of Lower Saxony, home to such industrial giants as Volkswagen and Preussag. Dr. Prewo holds a Ph.D. in economics from Johns Hopkins University, writes and speaks extensively on economic and social policy, and has been active in introducing U.S. companies to the German market and vice versa. He is active in the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for the New Europe in Brussels.
