2026 Rising Leaders Award
Applications for the GABC 2026 Transatlantic Rising Leaders Award are now open!
The GABC Transatlantic Rising Leaders Award recognizes outstanding professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, and a strong commitment to advance German-American business relations and economic cooperation, and active engagement for transatlantic exchange as a current or former member of the German-American Business Council. The award will be presented to the winner on Friday, December 11th at the UMass Club in Boston during GABC’s Annual Holiday Gala. Application closes on Sunday, November 22nd.
Who is Eligible?
- Age: No older than 40 years at the time of nomination
- Professional Role: Employed professional, entrepreneur, researcher, self-employed or organizational leader in business, technology, policy, trade, or transatlantic initiatives
- German-American Connection: Proven contributions to strengthening transatlantic bilateral economic, cultural, or innovation ties within the German-American Business Council
- Location: Based in the U.S.
Application & Nomination
- Candidates may self-apply or be nominated by peers, employers, or partner organizations. Application (via this form) should include:
- Short bio
- Statement of impact to the German-American community
- 1 or 2 professional references with ties to GABC Boston
- Optional supporting materials (links, media, publications, etc.)
Selection & Notification
Candidates may self-apply or be nominated by peers, employers, or partner organizations.
- Up to 3 finalists will be selected
- 1 award recipient chosen
- Finalists will be invited to 2025 Annual Gala (Dec 12) for the awards presentation
Winners will be notified via email or phone prior to the awards ceremony.
