GABC Members were invited to an intimate and frank Kamingespräch with former German Consul General Friedrich Löhr, former Ambassador to North Korea. The discussion was hosted in the gracious home of a former GABC board member in Newton, MA. Guests at this sold-out event went home enriched with deep thoughts and new insights after an evening of good food and wine, and stimulating conversation.

SOLD OUT EVENT. Summer afternoon aboard the Matten One on August 19 for a cruise among the islands of Boston Harbor. Captained by GABC's President of the Board, the gathering was a private networking event organized by the GABC Young Professionals Group and GABC leadership, for both social and business conversations. GABC young professionals and friends met in the last cold days of winter to enjoy an evening of delicious hot Feuerzangenbowle together. We bid the cold goodbye as we lit up the sugar cones and prepared this traditional German winter time drink. The plan was to then watch the classic corresponding movie “Feuerzangenbowle” but well, the many conversations between guests took priority and by 10PM we still hadn't finished the movie!
