Reception, presentation and tour of MIT’s world renowned Media Lab in Cambridge, MA. Actively promoting a unique, anti-disciplinary culture, the Lab goes beyond known boundaries and disciplines, creating disruptive technologies that happen at the edges. Our presenter Kent Larson directs the City Science Initiative and the Changing Places Group, one of over 20 research groups at the MIT Media Lab. His group is committed to living lab deployments that test urban innovation in real-world environments. Kent is currently exploring collaborations with the city of Hamburg, Germany.
