Field Service Engineer (German language fluency preferred)

Your job as a Field Service Engineer is to work with our customers throughout the United States to perform:

• new machine installation and testing at customer site
• troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of installed base
• Work on electrical and mechanical systems as well as PLC/PC controls
• Recommend technical solutions to customer / headquarters
• Provide phone support to customers in order to facilitate the resolution of hardware/software issues
• Maximize customer satisfaction by working closely with customer contacts
• Represent centrotherm in a professional manner and provide effective and professional communication to customers

Work hours are flexible depending on travel and installation schedules, possibility of high percentage of travel at times, short-time travel requests, international travel required for trainings at headquarters and continuing education / in-depth training at certain system.

Background in Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Preferably hands-on experience in servicing or manufacturing of semiconductor, photovoltaics or microelectronic machinery.
