Henke Sass Wolf of America is a medical device manufacturer and service facility located in Dudley, MA with corporate headquarters in Tuttlingen, Germany. The company is looking for a Buyer/Planner to expand their capacities in response to growth in demand for their $53M, 200-employee strong facility here in Massachusetts.
Buyer/Planner
Responsibilities:
- Assist Supply Chain Manager with demand planning of critical components
- Assists Supply Chain manager to determine proper stock levels and to identify obsolete / slow moving inventory
- Assist Supply Chain Manager in monitoring critical parts inventory
- Determines stock levels for non-critical items and places POs with proper lead times in SAP
- Identifies new potential vendors for non-critical items and obtains quotations from new vendors
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong and clear oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP R/3 Purchasing / Planning module a must, preferable experience with SAP S4 HANA
- Strong excel skills a must
- Bachelor degree a must
- 1-3 years’ experience in similar role
