Junior Project Manager at Schlenk Metal Foils (tempory position)

Its affiliate Schlenk Metal Foils is looking for the following position located at its US subsidiary in Ashland, Massachusetts for the next possible date temporary for 6 months.

Junior Project Manager, temporary for 6 months

Your responsibilities
You will be working in a small team that is located in the US and Germany. Starting off at our Ashland site you will get an introduction by our US sales manager to earn the fundamentals of the technology and processes behind the production and marketing of metal foils and their role in the next-generation of batteries. After that, you will be able to define the amount of remote work by yourself. During your time at Schlenk Metal Foils you will not only meet bright and promising entrepreneurs and senior managers from the Big Tech and others, you will also have several opportunities via regularly scheduled virtual events to get to know the rest of the Schlenk Group.

• Construct a thorough business plan for production capacity expansions at the German and US production site
• Prepare and file a financing proposal for a multi-million US$ investment with the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Support in the preparation of a white paper to present a new production facility
• Collect and compile technical and business data in collaboration with selected internal and external senior stakeholders and present findings to C-Level

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or a comparable technical field) in at least 4th semester. A completed Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration (MiM, MBA or equivalent) is a plus
• Applicants with 1-2 years of work experience as project manager and/or industrial engineer are preferred
• Interest in sustainable energy and energy storage systems

Work ethic:
Team player, hands-on mentality, data-driven, willing to take ownership

Language:
Fluency in German is a plus, but not mandatory

Experience with creating business plans is a plus.
